Know your mom is okay. Without calling five times a day.
When her morning looks wrong, Momo calls her first. Not you. If she says she is fine, that is the end of it. If she does not pick up, you hear in minutes, from the phone she already has.
From the team behind Momomoon. Nothing for her to wear or charge. You find out in hours, not days.
One line a day about your mom. The right line, the day it changes.
Up at 7:05, out around 10, home by noon. A normal day.
Her phone was quiet past 8:30, so Momo called. She slept in. No action needed.
No movement since last night and no answer from Momo at 8:40 or 8:55. Her neighbor Ruth is next on the list.
Illustrative mornings. Times and names are examples, not a customer record.
You call on Sunday. Something goes wrong on a Tuesday morning. Nobody knows until Thursday.
Her phone already knows the shape of her day. When it first moves in the morning. When she leaves the house and comes back. When the evening goes quiet. Nobody reads it, because nobody is watching between the calls.
Kin learns what normal looks like for her, and when it breaks, asks her. Not you.
- 7:10Her normal morning.Phone first moves. Coffee, the news, out the door by ten.
- 8:30Today, still quiet.Eighty minutes past her usual. Nobody would know yet.
- 8:32Momo calls her.“I’m fine, slept in.” That ends it. You get one line.
- 8:57You, if she had not answered. Then the next person on her care circle.
Three steps. None of them are hers.
- Day 0
You send the invite. She taps once.
No new device, no charger, no account for her to make. The app installs from that tap and learns from the phone she already carries. You tell us when she usually wakes up, so it protects her from the first morning.
- Days 1 to 7
Kin learns her normal.
When her phone first moves in the morning. When she heads out and, if she shares her location, when she is back. When the evening goes still. The baseline is hers, not an average of strangers.
- Every day after
It watches between your calls.
No movement by her usual time. A long quiet afternoon. A phone that died. Leaving home at two in the morning, if she shares her location. Not one odd minute. A break in her pattern. Separate from all this, Momo also calls her once a day to say hello, so a quiet morning is measured against a voice she already knows.
- When it breaks
Momo calls her first.
A warm voice that asks how she is and listens. If she says she is fine, that is the end of it. You are not woken up for a slept-in morning.
“Hi Linda, it’s Momo. Your phone’s been quiet this morning. Is everything okay?”Momo · check-in call · 8:32 AM
- Then you
You get one line.
Most days: “Mom’s fine.” If she does not answer Momo, or her regular phone, you get the alert, then the next person on her list. If she mentions a fall or chest pain, Momo tells her to call 911 and you hear right away.
Momo asks the small things, so you don’t have to.
- Her pills
“Did you take the ten o’clock one?” Asked every day, in a voice she likes, without you becoming the pill police.
- Her appointments
“How did the doctor go?” Momo remembers the date so you are not keeping a calendar for two households.
- Her quiet days
A few real minutes on the days nobody else calls. What she says stays hers unless she wants you to know.
You say it once. Momo keeps asking. You get one line, with only what she chose to share. Not a nurse, and it never pretends to be.

“For my grandpa and grandma, who I couldn’t check on.”

“For my mom and dad, who always say they’re fine.”

Questions worth asking before you put money down.
What exactly am I paying $19 for?
A founding spot. The $19 is a deposit: refunded any time before launch, or credited to your first month. It locks $12 a month for life instead of $24. And it puts you in the first 100 families we build with. We email you this week. If you want ten minutes with one of us, you tell us what this has to get right for her, and that shapes what we build first.
What if she does not want to be watched?
This is the one we argued about most, because it was our own parents we had in mind. She is an adult. So she sees everything you see. She decides whether location is on. She can pause it any day without asking you, and you do not get a notification that she did. The bet is that she takes that trade over three “just checking” calls a day. If she would not, this is not the product for her, and we would rather you knew that before you paid.
How is this different from just calling her myself?
You call once a day, on a good day. Kin covers the hours in between. When her morning goes quiet, Momo calls her within minutes, not whenever you next remember. Most days you get “Mom’s fine” without lifting a finger. The day something is wrong, you find out that morning, not Thursday.
Does she need to wear anything?
No. It works from the iPhone she already has. If she wears an Apple Watch, Kin can add sleep and heart rate to the picture. Helpful, never required.
What does she have to do?
Answer the phone. Setup is one tap on an invite you send. The tap opens the App Store; she installs once and never has to open it again. No screen for her to check, no button for her to remember.
Will I get woken up by false alarms?
Not for a slept-in morning. Momo calls her before anyone calls you, and “I’m fine” ends it without you hearing a thing. You hear only when she answers neither Momo nor her own phone. We will tune how often that happens with the founding families, and we would rather call her once too often than you once too late.
What if her phone dies or she leaves it on the table?
Then Momo calls her regular number. A dead phone is a signal on its own, and a phone forgotten in the kitchen gets the same call. “I’m fine, left it on the counter” ends it.
Can it remind her about pills?
Yes, if you want it to. Tell Momo once. It asks on the daily call, in a voice she likes, and you stay out of it.
Who sees her data?
She does, and the family members she approves. Location stays off unless she turns it on, and even then you see it only during an alert. Nothing is sold. Nothing goes to anyone you did not name.
Will you ever call 911?
No. If she tells Momo she fell or has chest pain, Momo tells her to call 911 and you hear at once. That call is always a person’s to make.
Works for Dad too?
Yes.
When does it ship?
Founding members first. We are building it with the first 100 families and will email you a date within two weeks of your reservation. Until then your $19 sits there, refundable.
Why should I trust two people I have never heard of?
You should not, yet. That is why the deposit is small and refundable, and why one of us emails every single person who reserves. We are also the ones who answer hello@momomoon.ai.
Stop guessing how she’s doing.
One line a day. Momo calls her first when her morning looks wrong. You find out that morning, not days later. We are building this with the first 100 families, and the founding price goes with the spot.
Not ready to put money down? One email when it ships. Nothing else.
